The Non-Resorcinol Peel is a potent cocktail of Salicylic, Lactic, and Glycolic Acids, suitable for most skin types particularly normal to oily, acneic, and sun damaged skin. Also known to deliver anti-aging ingredients and is considered a broader spectrum peel. Non-Resorcinol Peel is suitable for most skin types particularly normal to oily, acneic, and sun damaged. Sensitive and dry skin types should consult with a skin care professional to determine if the Non-Resorcinol Peel is an appropriate choice for them. Avoid use if you are sensitive to any of the ingredients listed. Not recommended if you are currently taking a prescription for Retin A, or if you have open sores, and have any viruses. ALWAYS USE A SUNSCREEN following chemical exfoliation.
SKIN CONCERN:BENEFITS: Decongests skin, reduces blemishes and blackheads. Aids in the stimulation of collagen production, acts as an astringent, and helps rid the skin of impurities. It can also aid with photo-aging and sun-damaged skin thereby improving skin texture, radiance, and luminosity.
Peel Effect Guidelines:
Light Peel: 1-3 layers Medium Peel: 4-6 layers Deep Peel: 7-8 layersFor Best Use: Prepare the skin by cleansing with Salicylic Cleansing Gel, pat dry. Tone with Anti Aging Glycolic Toner 7%. Apply Non Resorcinol Peel evenly coating the desired area and making sure to avoid contact with eyes and nostrils. Immediately repeat application of Non-Resorcinol Peel up to the desired number of layers according to the peel effect guidelines. Once applied wait 1-3 minutes then begin to removal with tepid water rinsing the entire area several times to ensure all of the peel is removed. Follow with Redness Rescue or Delicate Skin Calming Gel Mask, a desired moisturizer or sunscreen with SPF 30 or greater.
Contradictions:
• You are currently taking Accutane or have done so within the past twelve months; • You are pregnant or nursing; • You have a tendency to form keloid scars. • You have a sexually transmitted disease such as herpes, HIV/AIDS, or a similar condition; • You are undergoing cancer treatments, including chemotherapy and/or radiation; • If you are not willing to follow the post peel regime and use a sunscreen of SPF30 or higher every day until the peeling process has ended. • You have been treated with a hair-removal system in the past two days.
