HOW TO USE:

1. STANDALONE TINT APPLICATION:

Mix with Oxidizer in a 3:1 ratio - 3 Aqua drops (75%) to 1 drop (25%) Oxidizer for deepest stain effect.
Apply with a thin, angled brush in thin layers. Allow each layer to dry before applying the next layer.
Two layers minimum, and up to 3+ layers is preferable for even saturation.
Let sit for up to 15 minutes for a standalone treatment.

2. POST LAMINATION:

Mix with Oxidizer in a 3:1 ratio - 3 Aqua drops (75%) to 1 drop (25%) Oxidizer for deepest stain effect.
Outline the bottom of the line of the brow and allow to sit for 1-2 minutes to get the deep stain at the base of the brow. Then fluff the drops into the brow for a softer look.. Never leave tint for more than 5 min on the hair after Brow Lamination.

TIPS:

Always wear gloves to prevent skin stain on hands
Do not mix in metal dish or with metal spatula

Generally, blonde hair can exhibit various tones, including yellow, gold, pink or occasionally red. When tinting brows, the existing natural pigments mix with the dye pigments. If a blonde tint containing yellow or pink pigments is applied to hair with natural gold undertones, the result can lean towards a warm blonde or sometimes even a warm light brown. Your client has underlying tones throughout their brow hairs as well as their skin.

So how can you tell your clients undertones and if they’ll have a warm toned result?

To identify their undertone, you can check the colour of their veins. Warm undertones can vary in range from an orange/peachy, golden and yellow, while the veins will appear olive or green. Cool undertones can be identified by its red. pink, or a blue-ish shade, while the veins will appear blue or purple-ish. If there is a mixture of cool and warm tones, then we would typically defined these as neutral. Veins can appear both green and blue.

Now you know their undertone, what can you do to make sure your blonde is as cool as can be.

Using colour theory, complementary colours are pairs of colours that, when combined, cancel each other out. This means they create a neutral colour when mixed together. Green is the complementary colour of red. Since pink is essentially a light red, green is used to neutralise pink tones. When blonde hair shows unwanted warm tones, a green toner or green-based tint can be applied. The green pigment counteracts the pink, neutralising it and leaving a cooler blonde shade. You should always avoid a warm-based blonde dye.

WHICH TINT IS RIGHT FOR YOU?

Infinity Hybrid Selene is our Blonde tint. This shade has green undertones throughout, meaning when it is applied to Blonde brows (which like I mentioned before, often have pink tones) you’ll be able to achieve a perfect neutral blonde brow. However, if you still feel some of your clients blonde brows are coming out too warm, try adding a drop of Zeus, the Infinity Hybrid Cool toner, to neutralise any other warm tones hidden amongst the brow hairs.
