Enzymatic Exfoliants: Enzymes are natural exfoliant typically derived from fruits (papain from pineapple & bromelain derived from papaya). They typically don’t contain acids. Enzymes dissolve and digest keratin proteins which act like glue and hold old skin cells to the surface.
